College placement cell came into being in academic session 2015-2016. Within a short span of time the cell, though may still be considered in its infancy, has incredible achievements to its credit. College placement cell is working in two directions, one as auxiliary body of central placement cell (DU), where the cell functions as a medium between the students and the CPC. Every piece of information is posted on college website and notice boards. An intensive campaign is launched through which students are encouraged to get themselves registered in central placement cell (DU). Secondly, the cell tries to rope in reputed companies from corporate sector and industries for recruitment purposes. The cell has been very much successful in bringing in top ranking companies and organizations for this purpose. The feedback from these companies has always been overwhelmingly very encouraging and positive to the great satisfaction of the college. Students always participate in these recruitment processes very enthusiastically and with high degree of motivation and trust. It is worth mentioning that our students get selected in the placement drives conducted by central placement cell (DU) as well as by college placement cell. This undoubtedly motivates the cell to put in more efforts. It is the consistent endeavor of the cell to add to the existing number of companies visiting our college. The cell, through informal sessions, is always in continuous dialogue with all the students particularly final year students (of all streams) as to how they can improve themselves as challenging contestants for job interviews.
The Placement Cell also organizes career guidance programmes for all the students starting from first year. The cell arranges training programmes like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Communication Skills, talks, Workshop etc. It also invites HR Managers from different industries to conduct training programmes specifically for final year students.
Objectives of the Cell
