SUBMISSION OF YOUR PAPER PREFERENCES FOR THE COMING SEMESTER
All the students of various courses who will be shortly proceeding to the 3rd or 5th Semester are required to give their preferences for the elective papers that they wish to study and the feedback of the papers studied in 2nd and 4th semester by filling up the online Choices cum Feedback form available at the following link:

THE LINK WILL BE CLOSED AFTER THE LAST DATE IS OVER AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FILL UP THE FORM AFTER THAT.

1- The link to access the Choices forms may reach you through various channels: through personal email, through a notice on the college website or through class WhatsApp groups. However, FILL UP THE FORM ONCE ONLY. MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS WILL LEAD TO CANCELLATION OF ALL YOUR PREFERENCE REQUESTS.
चॉइस फॉर्म तक पहुंचने का लिंक विभिन्न चैनलों के माध्यम से आप तक पहुंच सकता है: व्यक्तिगत ईमेल के माध्यम से, कॉलेज की वेबसाइट पर एक नोटिस के माध्यम से या कक्षा व्हाट्सएप समूहों के माध्यम से। हालाँकि,फॉर्म केवल एक बार ही भरें। एकाधिक प्रस्तुतियाँ आपके सभी वरीयता अनुरोधों को रद्द कर देंगी।
2- If you want to change a response in your form, you can do that until the last date simply by opening up your form available at the link and entering your email ID.
यदि आप अपने फॉर्म में कोई प्रतिक्रिया बदलना चाहते हैं,तो आप अपनी ईमेल आईडी दर्ज करके लिंक पर उपलब्ध अपना फॉर्म खोलकर अंतिम तिथि तक ऐसा कर सकते हैं।
3- If you do not submit this form by the given last date, the college will make a compulsory allotment of papers to you on the basis of administrative convenience. No request for change in the papers so allotted will be considered.
यदि आप दी गई अंतिम तिथि तक यह फॉर्म जमा नहीं करते हैं, तो कॉलेज प्रशासनिक सुविधा के आधार पर आपको पेपर का अनिवार्य आवंटन करेगा। इस प्रकार आवंटित पेपर में बदलाव के किसी अनुरोध पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
4- Make your choice carefully. Go through the syllabi of the papers – these are available on the university website du.ac.in. Consult your teachers, if you feel the need for guidance. NO CHANGE IN PAPERS WILL BE ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AFTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FORM.
अपना चयन सावधानी से करें. पेपरों के पाठ्यक्रम को देखें – ये विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट du.ac.in पर उपलब्ध हैं। यदि आपको मार्गदर्शन की आवश्यकता महसूस हो तो अपने शिक्षकों से परामर्श लें। फॉर्म जमा करने के बाद किसी भी परिस्थिति में पेपर में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया जाएगा।
5- Do not choose any paper that you have already studied in an earlier semester.
ऐसा कोई पेपर न चुनें जिसे आप किसी भी पूर्व सेमेस्टर में पढ़ चुके हैं।
6- That the number of seats in each paper is limited. The allocation of papers will be done strictly on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. The sooner you submit this form, the better will be your chance of getting the paper of your first choice.
ध्यान दें कि प्रत्येक पेपर में सीटों की संख्या सीमित है। इसलिए पेपरों का आवंटन ‘पहले आओ पहले पाओ’ के आधार पर किया जाएगा। आप जितनी जल्दी यह फॉर्म जमा करेंगे, आपकी पहली पसंद का पेपर पाने की संभावना उतनी ही बेहतर होगी।
7- In the case of some papers, you have been asked to give more than one preference. This is because some of the papers on the list may get withdrawn at a later stage. This can happen, for example, when too few students opt for a paper. On the other hand, if too many students choose a paper, it may not be possible to accommodate everybody in that class. In these cases, you may not get the paper of your first choice and will be given the paper of your second or third preference. Therefore, WHEREVER YOU ARE ASKED TO GIVE MORE THAN ONE PREFERENCE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PAPER FOR EACH PREFERENCE. That is, the paper of your second preference must be DIFFERENT from the paper of your first preference, and the paper of your third preference must be DIFFERENT from the papers of your first two preferences.
कुछ पेपर के मामले में, आपको एक से अधिक प्राथमिकताएँ देने के लिए कहा गया है। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि सूची में शामिल कुछ पेपर बाद में वापस लिए जा सकते हैं। उदाहरण के लिए, ऐसा तब हो सकता है, जब बहुत कम छात्र किसी पेपर का विकल्प चुनते हैं। दूसरी ओर, यदि बहुत सारे छात्र एक पेपर चुनते हैं, तो उस कक्षा में सभी को समायोजित करना संभव नहीं हो सकता है। ऐसे में हो सकता है कि आपको आपकी पहली पसंद का पेपर न मिले और आपको आपकी दूसरी या तीसरी पसंद का पेपर दे दिया जाए। इसलिए, जहां भी आपसे एक से अधिक प्राथमिकताएं देने के लिए कहा जाए, सुनिश्चित करें कि आप प्रत्येक प्राथमिकता के लिए एक अलग पेपर चुनें। यानी आपकी दूसरी प्राथमिकता का पेपर आपकी पहली प्राथमिकता के पेपर से अलग होना चाहिए, और आपकी तीसरी प्राथमिकता का पेपर आपकी पहली दो प्राथमिकताओं के पेपर से अलग होना चाहिए।
8- Elective papers that are in demand will be offered again in the coming semesters. Hence, there is no need to feel disappointed if you do not get the paper of your first choice in this semester.
जिन वैकल्पिक पेपरों की मांग है, उन्हें आगामी सेमेस्टर में फिर से पेश किया जाएगा। इसलिए, अगर आपको इस सेमेस्टर में अपनी पहली पसंद का पेपर नहीं मिलता है तो निराश होने की जरूरत नहीं है।
